Hi Ruma Ruru

Welcome to our class blog. This is the place where we will share our learning with others and learn more about the world around us.

Rest up and have fun during the holidays - I am looking forward to the many adventures we will have in Term 2.

You can leave a comment on here telling me what you are up to for the holidays.

From Ms Copping

P.S Mr Dog loved having a sleep in this morning AND he has already had a sneaky bit of chocolate too! I think he is going to have a great holiday.

  1. Hi Room two
Great to see you have a blog started!! I am a teacher of a year5/6 class in New Plymouth. Miss Copping will need to show you where that is on a map. Perhaps some of you have been here. I will be watching your class blog grow. Have a look at my classes blog http://frankleyroom112012.blogspot.co.nz/

  7. Hi Mrs Copping

Hope you are feeling better and got lots of rest in the holidays. We've been keeping pretty busy. This week we went to Auckland to see "Train your dragon",it was pretty awesome. We also went to the Vintage tractors in St Kilda Rd, that was cool too. Ive lost another tooth and had a visit from the tooth fairy. This weather has been so so good, we've been doing lots outside. Today we went motorbike riding. See you real soon :)Jonte R

  8. Hi Ruma Ruru
My Mum said ANZAC stands for Australian New Zealand Army Corps. I now know that thousands of ANZACs died in Turkey because they went to the wrong beach called Gallipoli and there was heaps of troops already there waiting with lots of guns. I think this sounds really sad.

  9. ANZAC men are special people. Me and my brother watched the ANZAC services on TV this morning.
I've been with my Dad in our John Deere, we've been undersowing down at my friends house.
    See everyone tomorrow.

  10. Hi Everybody,
Today is ANZAC day and I set my alarm for 5.30am because my Dad took me to the ANZAC dawn service in Cambridge where we remembered all the soldiers that died in Turkey. My Pops Dad was in the war but in England. At the dawn service I heard a soldier play the bugle and three shots were fired from some other soldiers guns. I got a fright every time! I also got my Poppy to wear which helps us to remember the fallen soldiers.
    Love Max
