A Message from Ms C

I MISS YOU! I miss your cheeky faces and your hairy brains! I was thinking about how much I missed you and suddenly thought - hey - we could blog each other about our holidays!

So, write a comment about what you have been up to or send me a picture with a few sentences and I will post it for us all to read.

Our class had some big holiday plans - some of us were visiting our Nana and Poppas, some of us were having a BIRTHDAY, some of us were having friends over, some of us were visiting other parts of the country or leaving the country, some of us had some jobs to do on the farm, some of us were going to have 'sleep ins' and do some baking and some of us were going to the beach!

    HI Mrs Copping, Welcome back to cold NZ, i'm glad you had a great time. I have had a super cool week JUST WITH DAD, my favourite thing! We went too the movies and watched "Brave" and that i was, because it had really big scary bears....i thought it was awesome in 3D and i got to wear narley glasses!

    Hi it is Luke. I've been on the farm, I had jobs to do like feeding out and taking the fences down. I have also had a sleep-over at Max's house and been to Baxter's birthday party. I am going to Noah's party tomorrow, and then Jonte's party next week - loads of fun. I love the school holidays, its rocks. Luke xxooxxoo

    Hi Ms Copping it is Emma here. I am at the beach. I am going to take a puppy called rascal down to the beach it is going to be fun when we did it last time Rascal jumped up to me and when we went further on the beach rascal poohed and we had to pick it up. I hope you like my story xoxoxo

    Hi Ms Copping it is Ben here. We have just got back from Matapaua Bay. We had 3 sleeps there. We dug a big pool in the sand with my cousins Luke and Tim. We had to dig fast because the water was going so fast. I love going to the beach. I also went to the movies with my family and we watched Ice Age 4. I got to have subway for dinner. It was yum! My cousins are coming to play tomorrow. Lots of love Ben

      Ben - it sounds like you are having a wonderful holiday and I bet you had lots of fun in Matapaua Bay with your cousins. I love going to the beach too - it is fun in summer and winter. Did you like Ice Age 4? Do you think I should take my children to see it? From Ms C.

      I took my children to see it Ben and they loved it. Did you see the bit when the world was splitting up and there was BIG FOOTED Italy kicking little Sciliy...? I clapped at that bit because I know that anyone from Ruru who goes there will like that bit. See you soon. From Ms C.

    I went to the beach when we got there I took Maisie my dog for a big walk down the street and the next day we went to a place where you can get a coffee or a hot chocolate and there was a swing just across the road and it was attached to a tree.There was a dog walking around the swing and the dog bit me!Now I have dog teeth marks on my hand and I wasn't the first person that was bitten it was another girl.from Melissa

      Oh No Melissa1 I hope your hand is getting better. Did you see the other dog called Maisy that was at the beach last time? A hot chocolate and a swing sound like a great way to spend some time with your family. From Ms C.

    Hi Ms C, Today we went to the Sky Tower and there was lots of things below us, it was cool! Last week I went to the movies with Brooke from Miss Casey's class to see Brave aswell. And I went with my Nana to see a cool ice-skating ballet show called Nutcracker On Ice!

      Wow Ashleigh! What an exciting holiday you are having. Did you walk on the glass up the Sky Tower? I took my children to Ice Age 4 and they loved it. I have been to school and prepared some things for next week - I wonder if you will notice anything different? See you soon. From Ms C.
