Today we created some Ruru artwork using collage. Collage is ripped up pieces of paper/magazine glued on overlapping to create a block of colour.
We used black paper for the background as Ruru are nocturnal.
We are like our name Ruru, because, we like them are wise, we soar to great heights and we are special! Wouldn't you agree?
Those owls are so cool, well done Ruru. I cant wait to hang Jontes on my wall.

It is truly amazing what Ms Copping does for Ruma Ruru, the time and effort is endless. It is priceless to see the look on Emma's face as she shows her dad what has been happening at school. He doesn't get the chance to come in very often, so this is a way that he feels invited in to see what wonderful days Emma has at school. Am sure many other parents feel the same, so thank you Ms Copping for bringing us all together through the class blog.
